Job summary

UOB Indonesia is seeking a senior data engineer to build and maintain robust data pipelines supporting AFC models. The role requires collaborating with data scientists and business users to ensure clean, reliable data for analytics.

You will design scalable data architectures, deploy ML/AI models, and optimize data delivery in a fintech environment. The position offers a full-time on-site arrangement in Jakarta with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

5–10 years in tech, 3–5 years in data engineering/ops, fintech preferred.
Proficiency in Python/Spark for data engineering use cases.
Experience with Hive/Impala, Oozie, Hadoop and schema design.
Experience deploying and scaling ML/AI models.
Familiarity with Agile methods and JIRA.
Ability to create and maintain production-ready data pipelines and deployment pipelines.

Responsibilities

Create, build, and maintain the infrastructure required for ETL of data from diverse sources.
Deliver production-ready data pipelines to support AFC model build.
Monitor data quality and drive optimization, testing, and tooling for quality.
Evaluate tools for data lineage mapping.
Ensure data flow integrity between systems.
Collaborate with stakeholders to assess data for AFC models.
Support Data Scientists with data requirements and availability.
Create a model deployment pipeline and ensure models are production-ready.
Ensure seamless deployment of new AFC analytics solutions without breaking pipelines.
Identify and implement data process enhancements for reliability and scalability.
Troubleshoot data issues as needed.
