Job summary

Arbeit Group is seeking a Data Engineer to join one of our client projects in automotive tech. You will design and scale data architectures, build data pipelines, and collaborate with data scientists and engineers to deliver BI solutions.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in data engineering, strong Python and ETL skills, and hands-on experience with Hadoop, Spark, NoSQL, and data governance. This role emphasizes data quality, security, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Informatics Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Information Management, or related fields.
• 1–2 years of experience in Data Engineering or related roles.
• Hands-on experience in Data Modeling.
• Hands-on experience in ETL Development.
• Hands-on experience in Python programming.
• Hands-on experience with Big Data Technologies (Hadoop, Spark, NoSQL).
• Hands-on experience in Data Governance & Data Security.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data architecture to support business operations and analytics
• Build and optimize data pipelines to ensure efficient data collection, processing, and storage
• Develop and maintain database schemas while ensuring data quality, consistency, and integrity
• Manage ETL processes and support data integration from multiple sources
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Analysts, and Engineering teams to deliver business intelligence solutions
• Support data governance, security, and best practices across the data ecosystem
• Participate in project planning, budgeting, and resource management activities
