Job summary

Vertiv seeks a Commissioning Manager (Mechanical) to lead data center commissioning activities across SEA, Japan, and Korea, ensuring mechanical and electrical systems meet design and safety requirements. You will develop test scripts, review designs, troubleshoot issues, and ensure proper handover to clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• 3–5+ years in data center commissioning or related critical infrastructure.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to test dry contact alarms and understand alarm/control integration and IP monitoring with 3rd‑party systems.

Responsibilities

• Execute commissioning activities from CxL1 through CxL5 per design intent, standards, and client requirements.
• Coordinate between Client, General Contractor, CxA, PMO, Vertiv engineers, and on-site teams.
• Develop and execute electrical, mechanical, and integrated system test scripts.
• Review design drawings, schematics, and vendor docs to verify commissioning scope.
• Attend pre‑customer testing and FAT/SAT activities and document results.
• Liaise with customer commissioning agents as directed and support service start‑ups.
• Prepare test reports and documentation with support from document control and QA checks.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote a safety‑first culture.
