Job description

Monitor ICT infrastructure systems including servers, storage, network devices, and virtual environments on a 24/7 shift basis.

Perform routine operational checks and monitoring using NMS, server monitoring tools, and ticketing systems.

Ensure ICT services availability in accordance with defined SLA and operational procedures.

Handle incidents, service requests, and alerts through the ticketing system.

Perform first‑level troubleshooting for server, OS, basic network, and connectivity issues.

Escalate incidents to Level 2 / Level 3 teams or vendors based on escalation matrix and severity level.

Ensure timely ticket updates, resolution documentation, and proper closure.

Support installation, racking, stacking, and cabling of servers and network devices.

Perform basic server administration tasks (restart services, resource checks, log monitoring).

Support OS deployment, patching, and configuration under guidance of senior engineers.

Assist in backup, restore, and DR‑related activities as instructed.

Support planned maintenance and change activities during maintenance windows.

Execute approved MOP and follow change management procedures.

Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and data center facility teams during implementation.

Maintain shift handover reports and daily operation reports.

Update SOP, MOP, and technical documentation as required.

Maintain accurate asset, port, and connectivity records.

Coordinate with NOC, SOC, facility team, and external vendors.

Support customer requests, audits, and troubleshooting sessions.

Ensure effective communication during incidents and shift handovers.

Qualifications & Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

Minimum 1–3 years experience in ICT infrastructure operations, NOC, data center, or managed services.

Experience in 24/7 shift‑based operation is required.

  • Server hardware (Dell, HPE, Lenovo, etc.)
  • Virtualization (VMware / Hyper‑V – basic understanding)
  • Network fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLAN, basic switch configuration)
  • Monitoring tools and ticketing systems
  • ITIL‑based incident and change management processes

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Able to work under pressure in incident situations.

Detail‑oriented and disciplined in ticket updates and documentation.

Good communication and coordination skills.

24/7 shift‑based operation (including night shifts, weekends, and public holidays)

On‑call support when required

Work in mission‑critical data center environment
