Job summary

Amar Bank, a leading Indonesian digital bank, seeks a Data Automation Analyst to work with Internal Audit to design automation processes, dashboards, and data tools that reduce manual tasks.

In this role you will collaborate across teams to turn raw data into actionable insights, automate repetitive workflows, and support faster, better risk and business decisions; 2+ years in data analytics, SQL, and BI tools required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting, or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in data analytics, BI, or automation roles.
• Strong SQL skills, familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, Python, Power Automate, or Excel VBA.
• Ability to explain data concepts clearly to non-technical teams.
• Curiosity, adaptability, and problem-solving mindset for new domains (e.g., internal audit).

Responsibilities

• Automated Data Collection using APIs, web scraping, sensors, and cloud apps.
• Data Preparation including deduplication, normalization, and type conversions.
• Workflow Scheduling to refresh dashboards on a set timetable.
• Insight Generation using AI/ML to write summaries or spot anomalies.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Data Automation Analyst who’s passionate about using data, analytics, and automation to work smarter and faster. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with the Internal Audit team to design and implement automation processes, dashboards, and data tools that help them reduce manual tasks and uncover insights more efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Automated Data Collection: Automated data collection leverages APIs, web scraping, sensors, IOT devices, and cloud applications to gather data continuously.
• Data Preparation: Deduplication. Data normalization. Type conversions. Handling missing values.
• Workflow Scheduling: Setting up automated using tools like Python, cron jobs, or doud orchestrators to refresh dashboards on a set timetable.
• Insight Generation: Using artificial intelligence or machine learning models to write executive summaries or spot business anomalies automatically.

Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in data analytics, BI, or automation roles.
• Strong skills in SQL, and familiarity with tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Python, Power Automate, or Excel VBA.
• Ability to work collaboratively with non-technical teams and explain data concepts clearly.
