Job summary

PT Avows Technologies seeks a Cyber Security Engineer specializing in SIEM, VAPT, and secure code review to assess apps, APIs, and infrastructure. The role involves security monitoring, incident investigations, and remediation planning with DevSecOps integration into CI/CD pipelines.

You will analyze security logs, run vulnerability assessments, and prepare technical reports for IT, development, and infrastructure teams. A minimum of four years’ experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, CE, IS, Cyber Security or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Cyber Security, VAPT, Application Security, SOC, SIEM, DevSecOps, or Security Assessment.
• Experience with security testing tools (Nessus, Burp Suite, Nmap, OWASP ZAP, Metasploit).
• Experience with SIEM platforms (QRadar, Splunk, MS Sentinel, ArcSight, ELK).
• Experience with EDR/Endpoint Security solutions (Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike, Trend Micro, SentinelOne).
• Strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10, network protocols, API Security, and secure coding.

Responsibilities

• Conduct VAPT for web apps, APIs, networks, and OS.
• Perform Secure Code Review and App Security testing (SAST/DAST/SCA).
• Support DevSecOps and CI/CD security integration.
• Monitor SIEM/EDR, analyze logs and alerts, investigate IOCs.
• Investigate incidents (malware, phishing, unauthorized access).
• Perform security hardening reviews and remediation recommendations.
• Validate vulnerabilities, assess risk, track remediation (e.g., Jira).
• Prepare technical security reports for IT, development, and infrastructure teams.
