Job summary

BINUS would like to engage a student or graduate in an IT security oriented role to assist with server and network testing, vulnerability remediation, and security documentation.

You will support research on security standards and contribute to securing data center development while ensuring compliance with IT infrastructure guidelines. This role offers opportunities to learn across systems, networks and security tools in a university-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Candidates should have basic system administration capabilities and experience with OS services.
• Understanding of hardware, software and network concepts is needed.
• Familiarity with computer security tools and techniques is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing of servers and networks; fix errors and address vulnerabilities.
• Support research on products, services, protocols and standards to secure data center and network development.
• Contribute to improvements in database and system performance; document quality procedures and enhance efficiency.
• Ensure all software and hardware comply with IT Infrastructure standards.
• Assist cyber security activities related to databases, networks and server operations.
• Implement and monitor network security devices to protect against intrusions and attacks.
• Create, maintain and submit information system security documentation.
