Job description

Responsible for handling compliance activities, predominantly customs clearance of import and export shipments. This involves monitoring daily shipments, maintaining and submitting data and documentation as per customs rules and regulations. Responding to queries raised by customs officials and prioritizing shipment clearances based on company requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

• Handling customs clearance activities with good knowledge of Indonesian customs regulations, documentation requirements, processes, and procedures. Follow up on duty and tax payment reconciliation.
• Managing licenses such as Master list, Forestry Permit (PI), and others, including tracking shipments using these licenses and monitoring quotas without issues.
• Building and maintaining good relations with customs officials where Lamipak Indonesia applies for exports and imports.
• Proactively working with factories and vendors to explore opportunities for preferential duty savings through methods like Form E/D, RECP, bounded material, etc.
• Performing HS code reading and applying it correctly.
• Having good knowledge of international trade and Incoterms.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Transportation, or Logistics.
• PPJK certification is preferable.
• More than 5 years of experience in logistics, import & export, and customs affairs.
• Experience with concepts and processes of international supply chain and transportation sector.
• Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office and other logistics inventory systems.
• Effective communication skills with government agencies, service providers, and senior management.
• Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with others.
