Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Handle day-to-day operations at the Branch to ensure timely execution of shipments.
  • Update the system with new bookings and coordinate sea freight arrangements.
  • Process documentation work for export custom clearance on time.
  • Coordinate collection and delivery of goods with the warehouse team.
  • Plan shipments with buying offices and 3PL providers.
  • Communicate with shipping lines to get the best price for customers.
  • Support Ocean Export team in securing carrier space as needed.
  • Monitor cargo arrival at the seaport and check documentation.
  • Update shipment details in the system and ensure customer service.
  • Create necessary shipments documents like AMS, ISF, and ACI.
Job description
Job Responsibilities
  • Responsible for handling day-to-day operations at the Branch, from understanding the requirements of the customers, providing the best possible solutions in the market to ensure hassle free and timely execution of shipments.
  • Update the system when a new booking is received and coordinate with shippers to arrange the goods by Sea freight (for regular, sales generated, new shipments).
  • Coordinate with brokerage department to process the documentation work and get the custom documentation done on time (Export Custom clearance).
  • Coordinate with the DGL warehouse team for the collection / delivery of the goods on time to CFS.
  • Coordinate with buying offices, 3PL providers to plan the shipments.
  • Upon receiving the customer requirements, start correspondence with the Shipping lines / Co-Loaders directly in order to get the best possible price for the customer.
  • Support the Ocean Export team to secure space with carriers/onwards as and when necessary.
  • Update both shippers & destination agents with Vessel planning.
  • Monitoring Cargo arrival at the seaport.
  • Monitoring & checking shipper’s and Cnee’s Doc (Comm. Inv, P.list, NPE, PEB, PIB, LPBC (if Any)).
  • Received SI from customer and send to network to have green light and selling rates.
  • Booking confirmed to shipper / truck coordinator.
  • Monitoring shipment & Communication and send final data to shipping line.
  • Send Pre alerts to agents and process necessary communications refer to shipment status.
  • Update all related details relating to the shipments system.
  • Customer services - communicate with shippers/ agents and arrange invoices and other related documents based on customer requirements.
  • Create AMS / ISF / ACI.
  • Controlling payment credit terms.
