Key Responsibilities
- Creation of a control environment that respects the principles of budgetary control in all sales teams.
- Ensure all activities comply with accounting standards, company policy and all relevant legislation.
- Assist and guide customer marketing teams and support services teams on budget preparation and control.
- Drive the month‑end close to deliver accurate and timely close in line with the business requirements and designated timeframes.
- Provide hands‑on support as required to ensure all key deliverables are met.
- Reconcile both P&L and Balance sheet accounts.
- Coordination, critical review and accuracy of expected results – annual plan & latest estimates including monthly assessment and communication of ongoing risks and opportunities.
- Support the initiative process by assisting customer marketing team.
- Evaluate trading terms and promotion conducted by customer marketing team.
- Provide input and build 5-year strategic plan for the portfolio in collaboration with customer marketing teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
- 3–4 years of working experience in a commercial finance, sales controlling, or finance business partnering role, preferably within FMCG or a similar fast‑paced industry.
- Strong accounting knowledge and understanding of financial principles and budgetary control.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, data analysis).
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is essential.
- Familiarity with financial planning tools and reporting systems.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic insights.
- Proven ability to evaluate trade promotions, customer investments, and commercial initiatives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively partner with cross‑functional teams.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
- Highly responsive, dynamic, and able to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
- Detail‑oriented with a proactive and solution‑driven mindset.
