Job summary

A leading shipping services provider in Asia is looking for an individual to support Cruise Coordinators and assist with port information and crew changes. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree from Shipping Academies and good English communication skills. Experience in shipping is preferred but fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply. This role may require national and international travel.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in a basic Shipping background; fresh graduates are welcome.
• Knowledge of Shipping / Port Agency.
• Ability to work independently with initiative and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Support Cruise Coordinators with Principal’s vessels.
• Assist in collecting port information, tariffs, and costs.
• Coordinate arrangements for crew changes, including visas and transport.

Job description

Responsibilities

• To support Cruise Coordinators in completing their roles with Principal’s vessels
• To assist with the collection of port information, port tariffs, port costs and other relevant information pertaining to local port cruise activities from branches and sub-agents.
• To coordinate the arrangements necessary in support of crew changes including visas, hotel bookings, transport and other related services.
• To assist with the coordination of the Principal’s port booking requests and ensure they are processed in both Port booking systems and updated to company’s internal schedule.
• To collate crew change information requirements for company compliance and documentation purposes
• To systematically organize collected data in the company’s online data base and / or storage facility.
• To assist with Port360 and OneNote entries and data checking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from Shipping Academies
• Good English verbally and written, strong communication and negotiation skills
• 1‑2 years experience in basic Shipping background; fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• Knowledge of Shipping / Port Agency
• Self‑motivated, ability to work independently with initiative, self‑organiser
• Strong commitment to delivering excellence with a customer‑centric focus
• Flexibility to travel nationally and internationally as required
