Job Description
As a Procurement Lead, your main responsibilities will include:
- Translate group procurement strategy into actionable country-level plans and KPIs.
- Lead procurement operations across clinical and non-clinical categories, including medical equipment, pharmaceuticals, services, and capex.
- Oversee supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, and ensure compliance with both internal policies and Indonesian regulations.
- Build strategic supplier partnerships and drive local sourcing initiatives.
- Collaborate with hospital leadership and group functions to align procurement with operational and clinical priorities.
- Champion procurement digitisation, analytic, and performance dashboards.
- Lead and develop a high-performing procurement team, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Procurement Lead should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field; CIPS/CPSM certification is a plus.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive procurement experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or related industries.
- Strong understanding of Indonesia's hospital procurement landscape and regulatory environment.
- Proven track record in cost optimisation, supplier management, and process improvement.
- Excellent negotiation, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership skills.
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
