The Country Manager will oversee all operations, develop strategies, and drive business growth within the business. This role requires a strong leader to manage teams, build partnerships, and ensure the company's presence and success in Indonesia.

A leading fintech company operating across Southeast Asia is seeking a Country Manager to drive its growth in Indonesia. The organization provides innovative financial solutions and employee‑focused services, partnering with global enterprises to enhance financial wellness and operational efficiency. This role offers the opportunity to lead a dynamic business, collaborate with global leadership, and shape market strategy in a fast‑growing sector.
As a Country Lead, you will be reporting to the co‑founders and you will be working in a lean team. Other key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing strategic business plans to grow revenue and market share in Indonesia.
  • Securing and closing high‑value B2B deals with multinational corporations across diverse industries.
  • Building and maintain strong relationships with senior‑level stakeholders, including C‑suite executives.
  • Overseeing end‑to‑end operations, including sales, marketing, customer service, and general business functions.
  • Act as a subject‑matter expert on the Indonesian corporate landscape, providing insights to enhance products and services.
  • Monitoring market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Leading and inspiring a high‑performing local team, ensuring effective coaching and performance management.
  • Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to design and implement impactful sales and marketing strategies.
  • Strengthening brand presence through strategic partnerships and industry engagements.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to ensure business growth within the market.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Country Manager should have:

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in B2B enterprise sales, business development, or general management in Indonesia.
  • Proven ability to close deals and manage relationships with senior decision‑makers (COOs, CFOs, and other C‑suite leaders).
  • Background in financial services, technology, SaaS, or related fields preferred. It will be a plus if you have network within the industrial / manufacturing / consumer space.
  • Strong track record in securing and managing high‑value accounts with multinational corporations.
  • Deep understanding of the Indonesian corporate landscape, business culture, and regulatory environment.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Inspirational leadership experience in building and guiding high‑performing teams.
  • Proven experience in leading teams and managing operations.
  • Exceptional skills in strategy development and execution.
