Job description

Prepare, review, and update product cost estimates by collecting and analyzing data from product specifications, drawings, and site surveys.

Develop detailed cost calculations for new projects, including support during final negotiation stages and determination of final pricing prior to delivery.

Handle cost estimations for multiple projects simultaneously and communicate results effectively with internal teams and suppliers to ensure alignment on final pricing, scope, and project schedules before quotation submission.

Prepare and coordinate the initial Primarily Kick Off Meeting (PKOM) for new projects, ensuring all cost-related aspects are clearly communicated.

Requirements

• Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related disciplines).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a relevant role as Cost Estimator or similar position.
• Strong ability to read, calculate, and analyze mechanical drawings, including pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and related equipment.
• Proven capability in preparing Bill of Material (BOM) and Bill of Quantity (BOQ).
• Experience in project cost forecasting and budgeting.
• Good understanding of material specifications, construction methods, field quality control practices, and applicable codes and quality standards.
