Role Purpose

The Corporate Sales & Marketing Specialist is responsible for driving growth by promoting the company's products and services to other businesses or within the golf industry. This role involves understanding the needs of business clients, building partnerships, and creating targeted Corporate Sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing & Execute B2B Sales & Marketing Strategies: Develop and execute sales plans tailored to businesses in the golf sector, strengthen the corporate sales position in the market, define key sales objectives and track metrics to measure campaign success, and collaborate with Marketing teams to create events, promotional materials, presentations, and proposals that align with the needs of business clients.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to understand trends, demands, and challenges within the golf industry; identify potential business clients (golf clubs, resorts, tournament organizers, corporate sponsors, golf course designers, equipment suppliers); analyze competitor strategies and market positioning to inform competitive marketing approaches.
  • Lead Generation and Management: Generate high-quality business leads through networking, trade shows, and digital channels (LinkedIn, email marketing, industry forums); develop partnerships with golf equipment suppliers, service providers, and sponsors; nurture relationships and follow up with prospects to convert leads into clients.
  • Event Management and Trade Shows: Organize and participate in industry events, trade shows, and golf tournaments to promote the company\'s offerings; coordinate sponsorship opportunities and partnerships that increase brand visibility within the B2B sector.
  • Sales Management: Work closely with the Marketing team to align with sales goals and develop strategies that support business growth; create sales materials and presentations for business pitches.
  • Sales Reporting & CRM Management: Track sales progress, leads, and opportunities using a CRM system and maintain detailed records of interactions with clients; provide regular updates and reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and market insights to senior management; set up meetings and outreach to maximize client engagement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field — foundational understanding of marketing principles
  • Certifications in digital marketing, content marketing, or B2B marketing (e.g., Google Ads, HubSpot, LinkedIn) can be a plus
  • Industry-specific knowledge in golf or sports management could be advantageous
  • Very good English speaking and writing
  • Smart and proactive in nature
Experience
  • Experience in the golf industry is a must (essential)
  • 3–5 years of experience in B2B Sales, marketing, or a similar role
  • Prior experience in developing and executing B2B sales marketing strategies
  • Proven ability to work with businesses such as golf clubs, resorts, golf equipment suppliers, or other golf service providers
  • Experience in driving and managing B2B marketing campaigns that generate leads and close deals
  • Knowledge of the golf industry and its needs and challenges
  • A strong network within the golf industry or related sports industries can be highly beneficial
  • Able to think creatively and develop innovative strategies to engage B2B clients
