Key Responsibilities
- Act as the key account manager for business relations between the company and hotels/suppliers.
- Identify new business opportunities, products, and offers in coordination with the sourcing market.
- Conduct regular business visits, calls, and meetings with hotels to strengthen partnerships.
- Ensure alignment with customer demands by tracking market trends and adapting contracting strategies.
- Negotiate exclusive deals and seasonal promotions to secure market competitiveness.
- Provide ongoing training and support to hotels on the Supplier Portal to optimize inventory, pricing, and sales.
Static Contracting (Seasonal Contracts)
- Manage over 6,000+ hotels across Bali.
- Negotiate and renew static contracts (Summer/Winter), ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Review contracts before loading and verify accuracy post-loading before activation.
- Ensure contracts include full availability across all room categories, suites, and last‑minute (zero release) inventory.
- Negotiate seasonal and permanent discounts to maximize competitiveness.
- Implement and monitor Special Offers (SPOs) based on demand.
- Perform daily yielding for top accounts, benchmarking rates against Booking.com, Expedia, and affiliates.
- Handle group requests (corporate, leisure, events, fam trips) in coordination with operations.
- Provide weekly financial, market, and performance reports to global offices and management.
Dynamic Contracting (Channel Manager & Extranet)
- Approach hotels (chains and independents) to integrate via channel managers or the company’s extranet.
- Negotiate dynamic agreements, focusing on commission levels, competitive rates, and full inventory.
- Oversee the signing and onboarding process until hotels are fully integrated with technology.
- Yield and monitor competitiveness monthly against market benchmarks.
- Train smaller/local hotels without channel managers to use the extranet effectively.
Team Leadership & Development
- Supervise and support the Contracting Associate, Operations, Quotation, and CLU teams.
- Provide training in time management, quarterly planning, data analysis, and stress management.
- Motivate, inspire, and guide the team to achieve common goals.
- Assist operations teams in resolving challenges and provide discounts or special deals when required.
Reporting
- Weekly financial reports (profit/loss and market positioning).
- Weekly technical reports for system errors, mapping, or inventory issues.
- Market analysis reports with competitor benchmarking.
