Job summary

Qualifications

• Excellent command of written and verbal English; Indonesian proficiency is a plus.

About the role

We are seeking a talented and creative Content Creator to join the marketing and communications team at October Coffee Company. This is a full-time position based in Bandung, West Java. As Content Creator, you will play a vital role in developing and executing engaging content strategies that drive brand awareness, customer engagement and business growth across multiple platforms. This position is central to our marketing efforts, helping to shape how our brand communicates with customers and builds lasting relationships within the coffee industry.

Key responsibilities

• Create, develop and produce high-quality content across various formats including written articles, social media posts, videos, photography and multimedia materials
• Manage and maintain consistent brand voice and messaging across all marketing channels and platforms
• Plan, schedule and execute content calendars aligned with marketing campaigns and seasonal initiatives
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative concepts and storytelling that resonates with target audiences
• Monitor content performance metrics and analytics to optimise engagement and reach
• Research industry trends, competitor activities and audience insights to inform content strategy
• Manage social media accounts and community engagement, responding to comments and messages professionally
• Coordinate with photographers, videographers and other creative professionals to produce branded visual content
• Adapt and repurpose content across different platforms and formats to maximise content value
• Support the development of marketing materials including brochures, presentations and promotional collateral

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working as a content creator, copywriter or similar marketing role within the food and beverage, hospitality or related industry
• Strong portfolio demonstrating creative writing ability, visual design skills and multimedia content production
• Excellent command of written and verbal English; proficiency in Indonesian is highly advantageous
• Proficiency with content management systems, social media platforms and basic design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar software
• Understanding of social media algorithms, SEO best practices and digital marketing principles
• Strong storytelling and copywriting skills with the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences
• Experience with video content creation, editing and production is preferred
• Knowledge of photography principles and the ability to capture compelling branded imagery
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Creative mindset with strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
• Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills and willingness to take direction
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Design or a related field is preferred
