Responsibilities

• Oversee critical electrical systems (HV/MV/LV, UPS, generators, switchgear, cabling, earthing) and coordinate with CSA/MEP and other packages.
• Drive commissioning, FAT/SAT/IST and operational handover.
• Manage project controls, commercial activities, variation orders and claims.
• Maintain quality assurance and HSE leadership on site.
• Resolve technical, commercial and interface issues across multiple stakeholders.
• Ensure complete handover documentation and operational readiness.

Job description

PT PAWA Indonesia Engineering is seeking an experienced Construction Manager – Electrical to lead the delivery of large-scale hyperscale Data Center and mission-critical projects. This is a senior leadership position responsible for the overall delivery of electrical construction works from pre-construction and mobilization through installation, testing, commissioning, Integrated Systems Testing (IST), operational readiness, and final handover.

The successful candidate will provide strong leadership across construction, project controls, commercial, quality, HSE, commissioning, and stakeholder management, working closely with the Client, PMC, CxA, design consultants, contractors, specialist vendors, and authorities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead end-to-end delivery of electrical construction works for hyperscale Data Center and mission-critical projects.

Ensure delivery against schedule, cost, quality, and safety (TCQS) with strong stakeholder and contractor management.

Oversee critical electrical systems (HV/MV/LV, UPS, generators, switchgear, cabling, earthing, etc.) and coordinate with CSA/MEP and other packages.

Drive commissioning, FAT/SAT/IST and operational handover.

Manage project controls, commercial, variation orders and claims.

Maintain quality assurance and HSE leadership on site.

Resolve technical, commercial and interface issues across multiple stakeholders.

Ensure complete handover documentation and operational readiness.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Master's degree is an advantage.

12+ years total professional experience in construction/project management.

Minimum 7 years in Data Center, hyperscale, mission-critical or similar projects.

Strong experience in electrical construction management (HV/MV/LV, critical power systems).

Experience with commissioning, FAT/SAT/IST and handover.

Leadership, negotiation, stakeholder management, and excellent communication skills.

Willing to work at project sites and under demanding schedules.
