A leading global hospitality company is seeking an Assistant Sales Manager Weddings in Bali. You will create awareness of Wedding & Events, increase revenue, and manage client relations. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience in hotel sales, excellent hospitality skills, and a strong market analysis ability. As Assistant Sales Manager Weddings, create awareness of Wedding & Events in Conrad Bali, increase revenue and sale of Wedding & Events through Food & Beverage (Banquet) and Accommodation, establish wedding contacts (i.e. Wedding Organizer, Event Organizer, Exclusive Bridal Houses, Wedding & Social Community)
Establish wedding packages together with DOSM and Sales Manager – Wedding & Events
Liaise with PR/MarCom Department in Advertising research and suggestions
Implement action plan related to wedding areas as outlined in the marketing plan
Respond to, and search for where appropriate, business leads from agents, wholesalers / wedding organizer / bridal houses / wedding community
Search and compile data for relevant wedding suppliers
Handle site inspection of visiting wedding organizer, existing account and potential accounts
Respond to inquiries with comprehensive offers promptly within 24 hours
Ensure wedding leads are materialized
Follow through with rooming list, deposit payment and room reduction policy once contract is signed. Monitors group block and rooming list done by Sales Coordinator – Wedding & Events
Maximize revenue in all aspect of hotel products including room, wedding venues / packages and F&B revenue
Follow up all wedding leads and keep Sales Proactive updated on the leads progress
Ensure additional arrangements i.e. wedding liturgy, decoration, bouquet & boutonniere, etc are meets with guest’s expectation
Meet and greet organizer or wedding couple on arrival and departure
Take necessary immediate action to correct any clients’ dissatisfaction and reflect any problems or clients’ feedback with the appropriate sales person and/or catering person responsible for the event
Liaise with Credit/Accounting in preparing final invoice
Conduct final invoice review meeting with client
Attend travel show and promotional events and as may be requested by DOSM
Keep updated competitors set information for wedding business
