The Compliance Assistant Manager – PJP 1 supports the implementation and monitoring of the company’s compliance framework to ensure all operations, products, and business activities adhere to applicable regulations issued by Bank Indonesia (BI), OJK, and relevant authorities. This role works closely with internal stakeholders to maintain regulatory compliance and support ongoing license obligations for PJP 1.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation and ongoing monitoring of compliance with applicable regulations for Payment Service Provider (PJP 1), including BI, OJK, and ASPI requirements.
- Assist in developing, reviewing, and updating internal compliance policies, SOPs, and procedures in line with regulatory changes.
- Conduct routine compliance monitoring, self‑assessments, and gap analysis to identify potential compliance risks.
- Provide compliance advisory support to business and operations teams related to products, processes, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and assist in the submission of regulatory reports to authorities (e.g., BI, OJK), including AML/CFT‑related reports such as LTKM and LTKT.
- Support the execution of KYC, CDD, EDD, and transaction monitoring processes in coordination with risk and operations teams.
- Assist during regulatory examinations, audits, and inspections by preparing documentation, responses, and follow‑ups.
- Monitor regulatory updates and assess their impact on company operations, escalating key issues to management.
- Support compliance training and awareness programs for internal stakeholders.
- Maintain proper documentation of compliance activities, including compliance matrices, risk registers, SOPs, and audit trails.
- Assist in maintaining PJP‑1 licensing compliance, including coordination with BI and ASPI where required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or regulatory roles within fintech, payment systems, digital banking, or financial institutions.
- Solid understanding of Indonesian regulations related to PJP, AML/CFT, and BI/OJK compliance requirements.
- Experience supporting regulatory reporting, audits, and inspections.
- Professional certifications such as ACAMS, AAMLP, CRMP, LSPP, or equivalent are an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills with good attention to detail.
- Good communication and coordination skills to work with cross‑functional teams.
- Proficient in Bahasa Indonesia and English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, work independently, and meet regulatory deadlines.
