Position Overview

We are seeking a Compensation Specialist to join our factory HR team in Semarang, Indonesia. This role is pivotal in managing all payroll-related operations and providing professional compensation support to our employees. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, numerically proficient, and possess excellent cross-cultural communication skills. Candidates with relevant experience and Chinese language proficiency are strongly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monthly Payroll Processing & Disbursement: Accurately and timely calculate monthly salaries, process payroll disbursements, and handle bank transfers for all employees in the Semarang area.
  • Statutory Benefits & Tax Administration: Manage the calculation, declaration, and payment of employee social security (BPJS) and personal income tax, ensuring full compliance with Indonesian regulations.
  • Data & System Maintenance: Accurately maintain employee payroll data, attendance records, and changes in the HRIS system, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Assist the Factory HR Head in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll-related reports to support management decisions.
  • Employee Inquiry & Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for the payroll module, professionally and patiently addressing employee inquiries regarding salary, benefits, and taxes.
  • Process Assistance & Optimization: Assist the Factory HR Head in optimizing local payroll workflows and participate in testing and implementing related systems or policies.
