About the Position

The Compensation & Benefits Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing competitive and compliant compensation and benefits programs that support the company’s business strategy, talent attraction, retention, and performance culture. This role partners closely with leadership, People Business Partners, Finance, and external vendors to ensure internal equity, market competitiveness, and operational excellence in rewards programs.

Key Responsibilities
Compensation Management
  • Design, implement, and maintain company-wide compensation structures, salary bands, job leveling, and grading frameworks.
  • Lead annual compensation cycles, including salary reviews, promotions, adjustments, and bonus planning.
  • Conduct market benchmarking and salary surveys to ensure external competitiveness and internal equity.
  • Partner with People Business Partners and hiring managers on compensation recommendations for new hires, promotions, and retention cases.
  • Develop and maintain clear compensation policies, guidelines, and governance.
Benefits Management
  • Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, allowances, retirement plans, and other employee welfare programs.
  • Review and optimize benefits offerings to balance employee needs, cost efficiency, and company sustainability.
  • Lead benefits renewal processes, vendor negotiations, and performance reviews.
  • Ensure effective communication and employee understanding of benefits programs.
Compliance & Governance
  • Ensure compensation and benefits practices comply with labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies.
  • Maintain documentation, SOPs, and audit‑ready processes related to compensation and benefits.
  • Support internal and external audits related to payroll, benefits, and rewards governance.
Data, Analysis & Reporting
  • Analyze compensation and benefits data to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
  • Prepare reports and insights for leadership on total rewards cost, effectiveness, and ROI.
  • Maintain accurate rewards data within HRIS and related systems.
Stakeholder & Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Finance on budgeting, forecasting, and cost control related to total rewards.
  • Partner with People Team members on performance management, career frameworks, and workforce planning.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on compensation and benefits matters for the organization.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience in compensation and benefits, total rewards, or related HR roles.
  • Strong experience managing salary structures, benchmarking, and annual compensation cycles.
  • Experience working in fast‑growing, tech, or dynamic environments is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
  • Solid understanding of labor laws and compensation best practices.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Detail‑oriented with a strong governance and compliance mindset.
  • Ability to balance employee experience with business and cost considerations.
  • Proficient in HRIS, Excel/Sheets, and compensation tools.
