About the Role

We are looking for a Lead Community Relations Specialist or Lead Local Stakeholder Relations Specialist to lead community and government engagement efforts in our West Java operations. This role is crucial in maintaining a conducive social environment, mitigating issues during project and drilling activities, and ensuring effective collaboration with government officials and local stakeholders.

What You’ll Do
  • Represent the company in meetings and discussions with key stakeholders to maintain strong, trust-based relationships.
  • Conduct regular engagements to address issues and assess social impacts arising from operations and project activities.
  • Develop and implement stakeholder engagement and advocacy strategies, including sponsorship and donation assessments aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage conflict resolution and ensure grievances or claims from stakeholders are addressed effectively.
  • Conduct issue analysis and prepare key messages or company positions for management decision-making.
  • Ensure full compliance with the company’s Stakeholder Management Procedures and relevant Government of Indonesia regulations.
  • Facilitate formal and informal engagements to strengthen relationships, address social challenges, and foster positive change.
  • Support the company’s commitment to sustainability by promoting transparent communication and social harmony around operational areas.
What We’re Looking For
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Communication, Public Administration, or related disciplines.
  • At least 10 years of experience in community engagement, development, or stakeholder relations within the energy or mining industry.
  • Strong understanding of social impact assessment (AMDAL), issue management, and project management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and public speaking skills.
  • Preferably domiciled in Sukabumi or Bogor Regency and fluent in Sundanese.
