Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in Indonesia seeks a Commissioning Manager to lead the commissioning process for mission-critical data center projects, guiding design reviews through IST to ensure reliable, safe operations.

You will develop commissioning plans, coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and vendors, oversee FAT, SAT, IST, review designs for risks, and mentor the commissioning team to uphold safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of commissioning experience.
• Experience with complex infrastructure including UPS, generators, switchgear, chillers, CRAC/CRAH, BMS, EPMS, and fire protection systems.
• Strong understanding of mission-critical facility operations and reliability concepts.
• Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning activities for data center projects across mechanical, electrical, controls, and life safety systems.
• Develop and manage commissioning plans, schedules, procedures, and reporting.

About the Role

The Data Center Commissioning Manager will be leading the commissioning process for mission-critical data center projects. This role is responsible for overseeing commissioning activities from design review through integrated systems testing, ensuring all critical infrastructure systems operate safely, reliably, and in accordance with client requirements.

What You'll Do:

• Lead commissioning activities for data center projects, including mechanical, electrical, controls, and life safety systems.
• Develop and manage commissioning plans, schedules, procedures, and reporting.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Oversee factory acceptance testing (FAT), site acceptance testing (SAT), and integrated systems testing (IST).
• Review design documents and identify potential operational, reliability, and maintainability risks.
• Track commissioning progress, manage issue resolution, and ensure timely project completion.
• Support operational readiness, turnover, and handover to facility operations teams.
• Lead and mentor commissioning personnel while driving safety, quality, and compliance standards.

What You'll Need:
