Job summary

SIRCLO is seeking a DevOps/Platform Engineer to strengthen and maintain our infrastructure, focusing on performance, availability, scalability, and security. You will proactively manage tasks to meet deadlines and quickly troubleshoot production issues to prevent recurrence.

The role requires Unix scripting knowledge, 3+ years of related experience, and hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins for CI/CD.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of working experience in the related field.
• Open to exploring, learning, and implementing new technologies and concepts.
• Strong knowledge of Unix concepts, command-line tools and scripting.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Proficient in GCP or AWS infrastructure management using IaC tools like Terraform, Ansible or similar tools.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes and CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
• Hardworking with good problem-solving skills and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Improve and maintain our infrastructure in terms of performance, availability, scalability, and security.
• Proactively manage activities to deliver required work on time.
• Troubleshoot production issues that resolve problems without causing new ones.
• Review and analyze current systems to improve efficiency and leverage these systems.
• Provide updates on work in progress, completed work, planned work, and potential blockers.

• Expeditiously troubleshoot application production issues that resolve the issues without causing additional problems
• Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems
• Provide updates on work in progress, work completed, work planned, and issues potentially impacting the on-time completion or quality level of work
• Build and maintain SIRCLO's technology Infrastructure
