Job summary

SIGMATECH is seeking a Cloud Data Engineer in Indonesia to design and manage cloud-based data solutions for Banking/Financial Services. You will work with GCP tools such as BigQuery and Cloud Composer, develop data pipelines with Airflow, and optimize SQL queries. Strong Python skills and collaboration are essential.

The role emphasizes hands-on cloud data engineering, ETL/ELT processes, and delivering reliable data architectures while communicating effectively with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related fields.
• 3+ years of experience as Cloud Data Engineer / Data Engineer / Cloud Engineer or related role.
• Experience in Banking / Financial Services is mandatory.
• Strong experience in designing and managing cloud-based data solutions.
• Hands-on with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) including BigQuery, Cloud Composer, Apache Airflow.
• Strong data pipeline development and orchestration using Airflow/Cloud Composer.
• Proficiency in Python for data engineering and automation.
• Strong SQL skills with query optimization and data manipulation.
• Understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data pipeline architectures.
• Familiar with cloud-based data warehouse concepts and best practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related fields.

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Cloud Data Engineer, Data Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or related role.

Experience working in Banking / Financial Services is mandatory

Strong experience in Cloud Engineering, particularly in designing and managing cloud-based data solutions.

Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), especially:
Google Cloud Composer
BigQuery
Apache Airflow

Strong understanding and hands-on experience in data pipeline development and orchestration using Airflow / Cloud Composer.

Proficient in Python for data engineering and automation.

Strong proficiency in SQL, including query optimization and data manipulation.

Good understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data integration, and data pipeline architecture.

Familiar with cloud-based data warehouse concepts and best practices.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

Good communication and collaboration skills.
