A leading accounting firm in Jakarta is seeking a Client Service Accountant to manage client portfolios and ensure accurate accounting services. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, strong client management skills, and proficiency in accounting software. The Client Service Accountant is responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of accounting services, financial reporting, tax compliance, and advisory support. This role requires strong client management skills, technical accounting expertise, and the ability to supervise junior team members for a senior position.
Manage daily accounting and financial reporting for multiple clients.
Prepare timely and accurate management accounts and financial statements.
Provide accounting advice and solutions to support client needs.
Supervise and review the work of junior team members for a senior role.
Improve accounting processes to increase efficiency.
Handle client tax reporting and support audit requirements.
Assist managers or directors with ad-hoc projects as needed.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Strong knowledge of PSAK; IFRS familiarity is a plus.
Experience managing multiple clients from various industries is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB) and Microsoft Excel.
Able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Professional certifications (CPA, CA, or equivalent) are a bonus.
Good command of English, especially when working with multinational clients.
Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience, preferably in accounting firms, shared services, or outsourced accounting environments.
Capable of leading a team and mentoring junior staff.
