About the job

The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and coordinating civil and structural works including foundations, buildings, floors, roads, drainage, and supporting infrastructure in compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and local building codes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review civil & structural designs, drawings, and calculations
• Ensure structural adequacy for factory and supporting buildings
• Coordinate with architectural, MEP, and production layout teams
• Supervise on-site civil & structural construction activities
• Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and schedules
• Monitor quality of concrete, steel structures, foundations, and finishes
• Coordinate with contractors, and client representatives
• Support planning, progress tracking, and reporting
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements on site
• Review BOQs, quantities, and variation orders
• Identify risks related to structural safety, delays, and cost overruns
• Support testing and commissioning of civil structures
• Prepare reports, site records, and as-built drawings
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and building permits
• Participate in audits, inspections, and handover processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Diploma in Civil Engineering (Structural preferred)
• 3–7 years in civil & structural works
• Experience in Industrial facilities / factories / manufacturing plants
• Experience in enforced concrete and steel structures
• Strong knowledge of civil & structural engineering principles, materials, construction methods
• Strong knowledge of local building codes and international standards
• Have strong coordination and communication skills
• Detail-oriented, proactive, problem-solving
