Lutechresources mencari Civil Engineer untuk mengerjakan desain sipil dan analisis dengan bimbingan tim teknik, berfokus pada pemecahan masalah sipil menggunakan praktik standar.

Posisi ini menuntut pengalaman di industri konstruksi berat (min. 3–8 tahun) dan kemampuan berbahasa Inggris. Peran ini melibatkan FEED, studi, desain rinci, serta koordinasi antar disiplin di lokasi proyek.

Qualifications

• Gelar sarjana atau magister di bidang teknik.
• Pengalaman 3–8 tahun di sektor minyak & gas dengan kontraktor/ konsultor utama.
• Mampu berbahasa Inggris lisan maupun tulisan.
• Berorientasi pada keselamatan (HSE), TQM, dan efisiensi biaya.
• Familiar dengan standar dan kode teknik yang relevan.

Responsibilities

• Melakukan FEED, studi, dan desain rinci untuk tugas teknik yang lebih kompleks.
• Menyusun perhitungan desain yang jelas dan laporan teknis.
• Mengelola waktu kerja sendiri agar sesuai dengan tenggat.
• Berkomunikasi jelas mengenai informasi teknis dengan tim.
• Mendukung estimasi MTO dan dokumen subkontrak.

Job Overview:

The Civil Engineer applies their conceptual knowledge of civil and, with a moderate level of guidance and direction from colleagues and leadership, is responsible for solving a range of straightforward civil problems. They will be responsible for analyzing possible solutions using standard procedures and building knowledge of the company, processes, and customers. The Civil Engineer understands key business drivers and applies this knowledge to solve problems in straightforward situations by analyzing possible solutions using technical experience, judgment, and precedents.

Responsibilities

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Perform FEED, Studies, and detailed design engineering, analysis, and calculations on more complex and demanding engineering tasks
• Apply knowledge and skills to complete varied assignments
• Prepare clear and accurate detailed design calculations and analyses, including design reports and procedures
• Prioritize and organize own work to meet deadlines
• Focus on completing work within budgets
• Communicate and explain information in straightforward engineering activities
• Gain familiarity with the project scope of work, specifications, schedule, and all inter-discipline requirements, including identifying concerns as early as practicable
• Initiate interface with other disciplines to obtain input for discipline designs
• Perform computer analyses of foundations and structures designed by others with guidance from Senior/Principal Engineers
• Prepare design calculations as required
• Assist in the preparation of specifications with guidance from colleagues
• Perform engineering check of drafting
• Perform engineering checks prepared by others within the discipline
• Perform design verification through single discipline check and assist with inter-discipline checks (IDC)
• Prepare & review MTOs of foundations and structures under the supervision
• Provide engineering support as required
• Assist in the preparation of subcontract documents
• Review vendor data
• Assist in bid evaluations

Reports to: Project: Lead Engineer
Functional: Supervising Department Manager
Liaise With: All design/drafting disciplines, all Engineering disciplines, Construction site/Fabrication groups, and Document
Control
Supervises: Trainee Engineers

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications and Education:

• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Engineering
• 3-8 years of experience in oil and gas with a major contractor or consultant, predominantly performing detail design
• Preferably Registered Engineer in Training (EIT) or member of a professional engineering society as applicable
• Eager to learn
• Working knowledge of English, both oral and written
• HSE, TQM, and cost-conscious
• Show flexibility and ensure proper hand-over with regard to:
  • The reassignment to other departments, construction sites, and fabrication yards
  • The replacement of colleagues during illness and holidays.
  • The provision of assistance to other colleagues with heavy workloads (also other projects) when possible/desirable
  • The managing/learning of future current working methods and software applications
• Accredited engineering degree as may be required by specific regions
• Familiar with the use of codes and standards
• Familiar with the content and application of standards, codes, and guidelines as applicable. Knowledge of many basic design techniques and analysis methods
• Minimum 5-10 years working experience in the heavy construction industry.
• Able to use MS office, 2D AutoCAD, able do to Civil/Mechanical/Electrical analysis would be an advantage.
• Fluent in English both oral and written.
