Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Indonesia is seeking a Civil Engineer to supervise building works and ensure compliance with regulations and specifications. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and at least 3 years of experience in construction. Proficiency in AutoCAD and fluent English are essential. This is a contract-based position for approximately 3 months located in East Java.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor building works (structural, architectural, and finishing).
• Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and safety regulations.
• Conduct inspections and monitor site progress.
• Ensure timely completion of building works according to the master schedule and coordinate handovers to other disciplines (e.g., mechanical, electrical).
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Review shop drawings, technical documents, and materials.
• Prepare daily/weekly reports and support as-built documentation.
• Assist in resolving site issues related to building works.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in building construction (structural and finishing).
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, standards, and materials.
• Able to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal).
• Available immediately or <1 month notice period.
