Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Geoscience, or related fields; a Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.

Minimum 20 years of experience in the energy sector, with at least 10 years in geothermal industry

Deep understanding of geothermal exploration, drilling, development, operations, and power plant management.

Strong track record in leading large-scale geothermal projects, including feasibility studies, project financing, construction, and operations.

Proven experience in stakeholder management, including engagement with government bodies, regulatory agencies, investors, and strategic partners.

Solid knowledge of renewable energy regulations, geothermal licensing frameworks, and environmental compliance requirements.

Experience in driving corporate strategy, P&L management, and organizational transformation.

Strong commercial acumen with experience in project financing, joint ventures, and public-private partnerships (PPPs).

Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills with a hands-on and strategic mindset.

Job Descriptions:

Provide strategic leadership and overall direction for the geothermal business, from exploration through to power generation and commercialization.

Oversee all aspects of geothermal operations, including project development, drilling, reservoir management, engineering, and environmental compliance.

Lead the development and execution of business plans to achieve growth, profitability, and long-term sustainability of geothermal assets.

Build and maintain high-level relationships with regulatory agencies, government institutions, investors, and energy off-takers.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including new field development, strategic partnerships, acquisitions, and joint ventures.

Ensure operational excellence by implementing best practices in HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment), technical performance, and cost efficiency.

Oversee project financing activities and lead negotiations with investors, banks, and other financial institutions.

Monitor industry trends, policy changes, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
