About the Role

This is a senior leadership role, responsible for full-spectrum financial operations including advanced accounting, financial reporting, strategic analysis, budgeting, audit readiness, and cross-border coordination with Chinese management.

Mandarin fluency is strictly mandatory. Candidates who cannot speak Mandarin fluently will not be considered under any circumstances.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Financial Operations

Lead, manage, and mentor the Finance & Accounting team.

Oversee and control full accounting cycle across AP, AR, GL, reporting, and tax.

Ensure perfect accuracy and compliance with Indonesian accounting standards.

Strengthen internal controls and establish solid financial governance.

Financial Analysis & Reporting

Produce, review, and present P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and management reports.

Conduct deep financial analysis to support strategic and operational decisions.

Manage budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial planning.

Monitor margins, cost structures, cash flow health, and financial risks.

Cross-Border Coordination

Communicate directly with Mandarin-speaking management and HQ on a daily basis.

Translate and articulate financial results, strategies, and challenges clearly.

Manage Indonesia–China reporting alignment, documentation, and internal audits.

Process Improvement & SOP Development

Upgrade finance SOPs, workflows, and operational processes.

Ensure audit readiness, transparency, and a high-integrity finance environment.

Implement improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.

Requirements (Mandatory)

Fluent Mandarin (speaking and listening) — non-negotiable.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related major.

Minimum 5–7 years of experience in finance/accounting, with 3+ years in a senior role.

Accounting standards & compliance

Budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis

Cash flow and liquidity management

Financial modeling and data interpretation

ERP or accounting software systems

Very strong attention to detail, accuracy, discipline, and integrity.

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work full-time on-site at Baywalk Mall, Pluit.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with Chinese leadership or corporate teams.

Background in e-commerce, trading, supply chain, or multi-entity accounting.

Familiarity with cross-border financial processes between Indonesia and China.
