Buyer Growth Business Development Associate
Conduct regular interviews and discussions with Indonesian buyers to understand their sourcing behavior, challenges, and satisfaction level.
Summarize findings into clear action points to support improvements in logistics, payment, and buyer experience.
Collaborate with internal teams to follow up on key insights and ensure execution progress.
Deliverable: Conduct 6 buyer interviews per month and prepare a monthly insight summary with actionable recommendations.
Local Partnership Development (Logistics, Payment, Affiliate)
- Identify and engage with local partners including logistics companies, payment providers, and affiliate (CPS) publishers.
- Support partnership onboarding, coordination, and tracking of joint initiatives such as webinars or promotional campaigns.
- Maintain strong partner relationships and ensure smooth project delivery and reporting.
- Recruit 1 new affiliate/CPS partner per month and maintain regular follow-up with active partners.
Buyer Experience Check & Improvement
- Review and test key steps in the buyer purchasing journey — from product search to order placement, payment, and delivery.
- Identify pain points and coordinate with product, payment, and translation teams to improve the overall buyer experience.
- Check and report Bahasa Indonesia translation accuracy on the app and website, ensuring clear communication for local buyers.
- Provide a monthly buyer journey testing report and follow up on improvement actions.
- Resolve key localization and translation issues within the first 3 months.
Buyer Community & Relationship Building
- Support initiatives to strengthen relationships with Indonesian buyers through community events, webinars, and localized content.
- Coordinate with marketing and partners to produce engaging materials that build trust and awareness of Alibaba.com.
- Assist in managing project timelines, deliverables, and communication between teams to ensure successful execution.
- Publish 20 localized posts per month with measurable KPIs (Reach & Impression).
- Support at least 1 buyer engagement event per quarter.
Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, International Trade, or related fields.
- 3–5 years of experience in business development, project management, or partnership coordination (preferably in e-commerce).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
