Job summary

Deloitte is seeking an Associate/Analyst/Consultant for a Service Line role based in Jakarta. The position focuses on data collection, analysis, and providing practical advisory services to clients while maintaining timely communications and strong stakeholder relationships.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s/Master’s in Accounting or Fiscal Administration, with 1 year of accounting/tax experience preferred. Brevet A & B is advantageous; English proficiency and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Fiscal Administration with high academic performance.
• 1 year of accounting/tax experience is preferred; fresh graduates welcome.
• Brevet A & B certification is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and advisory abilities; good written and verbal English.

Responsibilities

• Collect data to analyze issues and transform raw data into actionable insights.
• Ensure timely responses to client emails/queries (within 2 days).
• Assist engagement team and maintain KPI delivery with the client.
• Prepare working papers and maintain tidy files both digitally and physically.
• Support clients with practical, workable solutions and maintain strong relationships with tax authorities.

Work you’ll do

• Able to collect data necessary to analyze an issue and transform raw data into useful information to better understand the issues.
• Ensure responsiveness to client’s emails/ queries not more than 2 days of receipt of the email
• Take responsibility for own portfolio and work as a team with other members on the same engagement in meeting the KPI agreed with the client.
• Assist the engagement team to attend to Tax Office or other relevant Government Department's queries and establish good relationship with them.
• Prepare files and working papers and ensure they are tidy and complete both within the shared drive and hard copy files
• Understand clients’ needs and ability to provide reasonable/workable solutions.
• Effective follow-up with clients on outstanding matters.
• Ensure minimal careless mistakes (e.g. typo errors, cross reference, etc.).
• Demonstrates knowledge and basic technical rules and principles and accurately applies
• Sets high, realistic expectations for self and others, clearly communicate them and provide necessary support
• Support the efforts of others to achieve result

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor/ master’s degree from reputable universities with excellent academic results (minimum GPA 3.00), majoring in Accounting or Fiscal Administration.
• Having 1 year of working experience in accounting and/or tax in a corporate or consulting environment would be an advantage, fresh graduates are welcome.
• Certified in Brevet A & B would be an advantage,
• Willing to work hard, enthusiastic and self-motivated.
• Eagerness to learn new things and possess can-do attitude.
• Strong analytical and advisory skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work in fast moving and demanding environment.
• Strong commitment, multi-tasking and team player.
