With fewer than 100 employees, the company provides reliable network and connectivity solutions to enterprise clients, government partners, and telecommunication operators across Indonesia, which projects brought high-speed internet to schools, health centers, government offices, tourist areas, and village halls in rural and remote communities

Role Overview

Our client, who is preparing to expand into new ventures with international partners, is seeking a Mandarin-fluent Business Liaison Executive.

This role will act as the bridge between the company’s leadership and foreign (particularly Chinese) counterparts, ensuring smooth communication, coordination, and follow-up of business initiatives. The ideal candidate is a young yet mature professional with a technology or STEM background, strong business understanding, and excellent Mandarin fluency, capable of supporting strategic discussions, partnership activities, and early-stage market research.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the main liaison between the company’s CEO, internal teams, and foreign (mainly Chinese) business partners.

Support the CEO in communication, documentation, and coordination related to potential partnerships and joint business initiatives.

Conduct market and industry research to support new business ventures, including trend analysis, feasibility assessments, and competitor benchmarking.

Assist in preparing business proposals, reports, presentations, and bilingual materials for internal and external stakeholders.

Facilitate cross-cultural communication to ensure clarity in technical and commercial discussions.

Support administrative and project coordination tasks, including scheduling, logistics, and vendor follow-ups.

Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive company and partner information.

Candidate Requirements

Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Computer Science, Industrial Management, or other STEM-related fields.

Experience:

2–5 years of work experience in business liaison and/or market research roles, in technology-driven sectors.

Hands-on experience in market research, project analysis, and business support functions.

Language:

Proficient in English and Bahasa Indonesia.

Fluent in Mandarin (spoken and written), able to handle technical and business discussions confidently.

Strong understanding of Chinese business culture and etiquette, preferably with prior study or work experience in China.

Professional Skills:

Strong analytical and communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.

Proactive, reliable, and organized, able to manage multiple priorities independently.
