OTO by CarDekho (automotive financing service marketplace) is a part of CarDekho SEA (India’s biggest digital automotive solutions provider). OTO by CarDekho SEA operates the business across Indonesia and initially focuses on new car dealerships and expanding the new business unit for used car financing, refinancing, dealer inventory funding, multi-financing, and auto insurance.
Job Responsibilities
1. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Lead the end-to-end budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes across business units.
- Consolidate financial reports and analyze variances against targets, identifying risks and opportunities.
- Develop scenario models and sensitivity analyses to support strategic and operational decisions.
2. Business Partnering
- Collaborate with business leaders to evaluate commercial initiatives, marketing spends, and growth strategies.
- Provide insights on business performance, unit economics, and ROI to drive operational efficiency.
- Translate complex financial data into actionable business recommendations.
3. Reporting & Performance Management
- Prepare and present monthly management reports, business reviews, and dashboards to senior leadership.
- Track key financial KPIs (revenue, margin, costs, and profitability) and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Support performance evaluation and decision-making through ad-hoc financial analyses.
4. Strategic Finance
- Support long-term business planning, fundraising activities, and financial modeling for new projects or expansion.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (strategy, operations, marketing, and product) to align financial targets with strategic goals.
- Conduct market and competitor financial benchmarking to guide leadership decisions.
5. Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve financial systems, reporting processes, and analytical tools.
- Implement best practices in financial governance and internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Business Management.
- 5–8 years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Strategic Finance, or Business Finance roles.
- Proven experience working in digital, media, fintech, or tech-driven industries is a plus.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and BI/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Google Data Studio, Tableau).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into insights.
- Strong business acumen and ability to influence strategic decisions.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- High attention to detail, structured thinking, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Certifications in Company Valuation, Financial Modeling, or FP&A are highly valued.
