About us:

What will you do:

  • Generating leads and cold-calling prospective clients.
  • Liaising with colleagues to develop sales and marketing strategies
  • Research organizations and individuals to seek out appropriate contacts and to find new opportunities.
  • Following up on business leads/opportunities and arranging business meetings with prospective clients face-to-face or over the phone.
  • Preparing sales presentations and participating in sales meetings
  • Developing quotes/proposals and presenting them to prospective clients.
  • Assist the Head of Social Research & Head of Business Development in preparing/producing reports for management.
  • Having a good understanding of the company’s services and being able to advise clients according to their needs.
  • Preparesales contracts, ensuring adherence to law-established rules and company guidelines.
  • Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices, etc.
  • Fostering and developing long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Increasing the business value of existing clients while attracting new clients.
  • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
  • Communicating new product developments to prospective clients.
  • Develop entry-level staff into valuable salespeople.

What you will need:

  • Proven work experience in Business Development or a similar role
  • Accustomed to conducting cold calling
  • Good command of the English language
  • Strong verbal and written communicationskills
  • Proactive and a good decision maker
  • Project management or organizational skills
  • Strategic and good analytical thinking
  • Strong ability to write sales reports
  • Have experience in handling clients from the government, state-owned enterprises, non-profit organizations, and academic clients.
  • More than 5 years of experience in the BD field.
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree
  • Having experience in the market research industry is a huge plus

Specific Criteria we're looking for:

  • Have experience and network with government, State-owned enterprises, NGOs, and international organizations
  • Have experience in participating in government tenders/registering the company to participate in the tender through e-Proc
