A leading firm in fire safety solutions in Jakarta Utara seeks a Business Development Manager to manage B2B client relationships, expand overseas markets, and lead project negotiations. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience in a similar role, with a background in fire protection or related fields. The position offers a negotiable salary, performance bonuses, and opportunities for international travel.
As a strategic leader, you will play a crucial role in expanding our client base and achieving our growth objectives.
Business Development: Develop new B2B clients including real estate developers, construction companies, factories, government institutions, and property management firms.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships; conduct regular visits to key accounts and identify potential needs to increase customer satisfaction.
Solution & Proposal: Provide tailored fire protection equipment solutions and quotations based on customer requirements; lead business negotiations and contract signing.
Project Management: Follow up on project execution, coordinate with internal teams (production, logistics, after-sales) to ensure smooth delivery and service quality.
Market Intelligence: Collect industry trends and competitor information; analyze market dynamics and provide insights for product improvement and strategic planning.
Sales Target Achievement: Develop sales plans according to company objectives and ensure achievement of assigned revenue and margin targets.
Market Expansion: Develop overseas markets by establishing and growing local distributors and sales channels.
Channel Management: Build and maintain the overseas channel network, implement partnership strategies and incentive programs.
Client Management: Manage relationships with key channel clients to ensure stable and long-term cooperation.
Market Research: Collect market intelligence and competitor information in assigned regions and report to headquarters.
Sales Support: Assist distributors in achieving sales targets and provide technical training and sales support.
Exhibitions & Visits: Participate in international trade shows, overseas business visits, and other external activities.
Contract Negotiation: Take part in business negotiations, contract signing, and the formulation of commercial terms.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related fields.
Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience; experience in fire protection equipment, safety products, construction materials, or related industries is preferred.
Familiar with bidding/tendering processes; proven experience in large-scale project sales is a strong plus.
Strong skills in client acquisition, business negotiation, and project follow-up.
High sense of responsibility, result-driven, and able to work under pressure; willingness to travel frequently.
Experience in managing sales teams or existing distributor/channel resources is a plus.
Salary is negotiable and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
