Business Development Manager (Electronic Retail Specialist - Semarang Region)

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager with a strong background in the electronics retail industry. This role is responsible for leading market expansion initiatives, developing strategic partnerships, and driving business growth in Semarang and the Central Java region. The ideal candidate is a proactive professional with solid negotiation skills, market insight, and the ability to build and maintain high-value relationships across the retail network.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to strengthen the company’s presence in electronic and home improvement retail channels.

Identify, approach, and establish long-term partnerships with potential retail partners and distributors.

Lead negotiations, oversee onboarding processes, and ensure strong client engagement and retention.

Manage and expand existing accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and repeat business.

Drive market penetration and regional expansion, identifying new business opportunities and potential retail networks.

Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop branding and visibility strategies, including retail signage, promotional activities, and product placement.

Conduct market intelligence research to track trends, pricing, competitors, and emerging opportunities.

Prepare regular sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and business performance analysis for management.

Represent the company in professional meetings, exhibitions, and events to enhance corporate visibility and partnerships.

Requirements:

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the electronics or consumer goods sector.

Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in retail channel development.

Strong leadership, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence at all levels.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, both in Bahasa Indonesia and English.

Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, hybrid environment.

Strong analytical mindset with experience in CRM systems and sales pipeline management.

Preferred Qualifications:

Deep understanding of the local electronic retail landscape and key industry players.
