A leading engineering firm in Jakarta Utara is seeking a Business Development Manager to develop growth strategies, manage client relationships, and promote company products. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in business development and a background in engineering or construction. This role includes travel within Indonesia and Southeast Asia, offering a dynamic and rewarding opportunity.
Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
Conduct research and reports to identify new markets and customer needs
Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
Prepare contracts and negotiate with client, ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
Develop entry level staff into valuable salespeople
Prepare bidding documents and involve in clarification meetings
Take business trips in Indonesia or even through South East Aisa area
Attend the exhibitions and conferences related to our business development
Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role
Proven working experience in engineering and construction, experience in chemical engineering is a plus
Good customer resources are a plus
Proficiency in MS Office software
Proficiency in English, It's a plus if can speak Mandarin.

BSc/BA or above in business administration, engineering, sales or relevant field
Requirements can be lowered if the candidate is exceptionally good
