Overview

As a Business Development Executive, you will be the driving force behind our client engagement and firm expansion. You will work closely with the partners and legal team to identify new opportunities, craft compelling proposals, and build trusted relationships with local and international clients.

You will gain first-hand exposure to the legal industry while sharpening your skills in client management, sales strategy, and market development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, draft, and review business proposals, pitch decks, and engagement letters for prospective clients in coordination with the legal team.
  • Communicate with and assist clients and potential clients regarding their inquiries, ensuring professional and timely responses.
  • Identify, pursue, and follow up on leads from potential clients, referrals, and networking opportunities.
  • Liaise with clients and the associate team to coordinate required information and documentation for proposals or engagements.
  • Maintain and update client databases and records in an accurate and organized manner, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with firm standards.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitors, and industry developments, particularly in areas relevant to the firm’s practice (e.g., immigration and corporate law).
  • Support the preparation of marketing materials (e.g., brochures, presentations, website content) to enhance client outreach and engagement.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve client acquisition strategies, marketing initiatives, and service offerings.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and business partners to encourage repeat and referral business.
  • Stay informed on legal industry developments (especially in immigration and corporate law) to align business development efforts with the firm’s strengths.
  • Achieve the revenue targets set by the Firm from time to time, as part of the Employee’s key performance indicators.
Key Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Law, or related field.
  • 1–3 years’ experience in business development, sales, account management, or client relations (professional services or legal industry experience is a plus).
  • Strong writing skills for proposals, emails, and marketing materials; confident presenter (English & Bahasa Indonesia).
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to translate legal services into client value propositions.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Google Workspace; familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Pipedrive) preferred.
  • Networking aptitude and professional demeanor; integrity and discretion in handling client information.
Nice to Have
  • Experience in immigration, corporate services, or cross-border business.
  • Basic understanding of Indonesian business compliance and licensing.
  • Track record of meeting sales/BD targets with clear metrics.
