Job summary

A consultancy firm in Indonesia is looking for an experienced candidate to lead franchise development and investment planning. The role requires over 5 years of experience in chain investment, including 3 years in catering, and proficiency in Indonesian, Chinese, and English. Responsibilities include developing annual plans, site selection, and establishing training systems for franchisees. Qualifications

  • Independently managed the expansion or operation of at least 20 catering stores.
  • Experience with local chain catering or international Chinese brands preferred.

Job description
Responsibilities
  1. Develop the annual investment plan and budget for the Indonesian market, and complete the signing target of 20 franchise stores in the first year.
  2. Independently carry out site selection, business district evaluation, franchisee screening and business negotiation, and sign concession contracts.
  3. Build local investment funnel: online leads (Facebook/TikTok ads), offline promotion, exhibitions, briefings, standardized SOP.
  4. Establish a franchisee evaluation and training system to ensure that stores open on time and enter the operation and management process.
  5. Maintain government, shopping mall, and local association resources to obtain high-quality storefronts and policy preferences.
  6. Submit monthly reports on investment progress, store pipeline, and competing product expansion to the chairperson.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor degree and above
  • Work experience: More than 5 years of chain investment, including more than 3 years of catering track; independently managed the expansion or operation of ≥ 20 catering stores
  • Industry background: Indonesian local chain catering/Chinese catering brand overseas experience is preferred
  • Language requirement: Fluent Indonesian + Chinese, English for work communication (trilingual preferred)
  • Essential Skills: Familiar with Indonesian Shopping Mall & Street Store Site Selection Process; Possess local franchisee/real estate resources; Able to understand P & L and return on investment models
  • Soft requirements: Strong self-drive and ground marketing execution, able to accept high-frequency business trips; Sharp negotiations, result-oriented
