Business Data Analyst (Fixed Term Contract)

As a Business Analyst at Lonza, you will engage with business management and the Program Management team by transforming data into clear, actionable insights. By consolidating and tailoring data views, you will help drive decision-making, support analytical advice, and act as a data integrity ambassador for the site. You will also play a key role in ensuring business-critical reporting is accurate, timely, and accessible, while partnering closely with the Senior Leadership Team.

What you’ll do

• Support and lead projects and initiatives to transform business management tools into clear and informative outputs.
• Provide SAP technical support to the site and business teams.
• Support the monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
• Update, maintain, and improve existing reporting and dashboards.
• Partner with Finance to support monthly revenue reconciliation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Elaborate complex reports by combining information from multiple sources.
• Use advanced data analysis tools with proficiency.
• Represent the Program Management function in site and Global forums related to revenue, targets, and profitability.

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong background in business management and financial tools.
• Solid expertise in data analysis and transforming data into actionable insights.
• Experience with SAP systems and reporting tools; advanced Excel or BI tools proficiency preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical data to non-technical colleagues.
• Ability to work collaboratively across functions and with senior stakeholders.
