Brand Specialist - Machine (Beauty Industry)
To own and develop assigned beauty machinery portfolios (home-use and professional-use) from a product and commercial perspective, ensuring market readiness, revenue achievement, and strong alignment between product, sales, marketing, regulatory, and after-sales functions.

Key Responsibilities
1. Product Ownership & Lifecycle Management
- Act as the product owner for multiple beauty machinery brands and product lines.
- Evaluate technical specifications, product claims, and market feasibility for new machinery.
- Develop and execute product strategies from pre-launch, launch, to post-launch phases.
- Manage the full product lifecycle, including performance evaluation and optimization.
2. Product Strategy & Commercial Support
- Define and develop product USP, positioning, and value propositions.
- Provide pricing recommendations based on market analysis and competitive benchmarking.
- Develop product roadmaps and marketing plans in collaboration with Brand Manager and Marketing team.
- Be accountable for achieving assigned machinery revenue targets.
3. Sales Enablement & Market Execution
- Support sales teams through strong product knowledge, presentations, and technical insights.
- Participate in key account or strategic customer presentations when required.
- Serve as the main liaison between sales teams and suppliers/principals for product-related matters.
- Analyze market feedback and propose strategic improvements to enhance product performance.
4. Training Support & Knowledge Transfer
- Ensure training teams fully understand product features, usage, and value prior to delivering training.
- Provide technical and conceptual briefings to internal training teams (without directly conducting customer training).
- Act as the internal reference for product manuals, specifications, and functional knowledge.
5. After-Sales & Product Issue Coordination
- Receive and analyze product-related issues reported by sales teams.
- Coordinate with suppliers/principals/manufacturers to address product complaints or technical concerns.
- Provide input on spare parts and consumables planning to procurement and service center teams.
- Support complaint reduction initiatives through product improvement and internal alignment.
6. Regulatory & Compliance Support
- Collaborate with Regulatory Officers in product registration and regulatory compliance processes.
- Supply technical data, product specifications, claims, manuals, and supporting documentation.
- Provide technical input to ensure product usage and claims align with applicable regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Engineering, Biomedical, Life Sciences, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in product management, product specialist, brand management, or related roles, preferably in beauty machinery, medical devices, or aesthetic equipment.
- Strong understanding of beauty machinery products, including features, applications, and basic technical principles.
- Proven ability to manage products from launch to post-market and support commercial execution.
- Experience working closely with sales and marketing teams to support revenue-driven initiatives.
- Ability to analyze market needs, competitor products, and customer feedback to develop product strategies.
- Good communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining technical concepts in a clear, business-oriented manner.
- Experience coordinating with suppliers, principals, or manufacturers, including handling product issues or improvements.
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements for beauty machinery or similar regulated products is an advantage.
