The Brand Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing marketing strategies that enhance brand awareness, drive growth, and strengthen brand positioning in the market. This role involves analyzing market trends, overseeing campaigns, managing budgets, and ensuring brand consistency across all marketing channels.

PT Darya-Varia Laboratoria Tbk ("Darya-Varia" or "the Company") is a long-established pharmaceutical company in Indonesia that first commenced its operations in 1976. Upon becoming a public company in 1994, it acquired PT Pradja Pharin (Prafa) in 1995, and proceeded to develop a wide range of Prescription and Consumer Health products. In July 2014, Darya-Varia merged with Prafa. Darya-Varia operates two world‑class manufacturing facilities, one in Gunung Putri and one in Citeureup, Bogor, both of which are ASEAN current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) certified. The two plants are focused on manufacturing the Company’s own brands, as well as toll manufacturing products for national and multinational principals, both for local and export markets. The Company also toll manufactures at the Cimanggis Plant, Depok, and in 2013 obtained halal certification for NATUR‑E and HOBAT Capsules, marking a first halal certified supplement for a pharmaceutical company in Indonesia. Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive brand strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Manage brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity to ensure consistency across all platforms.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, insights, and opportunities.
  • Plan and oversee marketing campaigns (digital, print, events, PR) to promote brand visibility and engagement.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (sales, product, digital, creative, R&D) to align brand initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, providing actionable insights for improvement.
  • Manage brand budget and ensure optimal allocation of resources.
  • Supervise brand communications, partnerships, and sponsorship activities.
  • Maintain relationships with external agencies, media partners, and key stakeholders.
  • Ensure all marketing activities comply with brand guidelines and company standards.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in brand management, marketing, or related roles, preferably from FMCG, personal care / beauty industry, pharma industry.
  • Strong understanding of market research, consumer insights, and brand strategy.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Creative thinker with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools, analytics, and social media platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
