Job description
Position Overview

In this position you will develop and own the strategy in strengthening marketing-brand activities, build channels, and improve sales in our Indonesian market. Your focus is on our core portfolio of skincare, fragrances, makeup, including the cross-border business. You will need to have a close pulse on key consumer trends and emerging white space opportunities and have strong execution abilities including retailer relationships to expand and grow our market share and business portfolios in Indonesia.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Initiate clear business and marketing strategies that will maximise the profitable growth of Luxasia’s brands and products in both online and physical retail channels
  • Closely monitor the outcome of marketing efforts and business activities, to ensure profitable outcomes
  • Principal relationship, able to negotiate, dealing and well communicate with our main stakeholders
  • Develop viable business model that will lead to sustainable growth and execute them
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify commercial opportunities
  • Have a clear understanding of customers’ needs, and consumer trends in the beauty and skincare sector
  • Manage relationship with retailer relationships, and continually act to acquire new customers
  • Strengthen existing sales channels, and identify and grow new opportunities in the e-commerce space
  • Seek out new opportunities in expanding the products and brands portfolio, and lead the commercialization and business planning
Key Requirements
  • A Bachelor's Degrees in Marketing or Business or a closely related field with equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations.
  • Grit, tenacity, and willingness to make things work.
  • At least 10 years of increasingly responsible work experience in a combination of Marketing and/or Sales function, and over this period has successfully delivered on meaningful metrics, especially top line and bottom-line results.
  • Consistent track record of success (leading & participating) with matrix organizations and projects that involve multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Has demonstrated success in ambitious business situations, i.e. new business model, turn-around, sustaining high growth.
  • A strong level of business and commercial acumen, particularly in omnichannel retail and distribution, and a deep understanding of the business’ local market and consumer behaviour.
  • An outstanding communicator who can interact with internally and externally with brand owners, management and colleagues.
  • Excellent networking skills and the ability to make partnerships happen.
