Mercor seeks a bilingual Indonesian STEM Expert (PhD) for AI safety in a remote contract role. You will craft expert-level prompts in Indonesian on specialized scientific topics and evaluate model outputs for accuracy, usefulness, and safety.

Ideal candidates hold a PhD in chemistry or biology with fluency in Indonesian and have hands-on laboratory and computational technique experience. Immediate start preferred, with independent, asynchronous work to meet deadlines.

Position: Bilingual Indonesian STEM Expert (PhD) — AI Safety
Type: Contract
Compensation: $19–$23/hour
Location: Remote

Must-Have

• Experience reviewing, grading, or red-teaming technical content.
