Job summary

Leighton Asia is seeking an experienced BIM Drafter to support modelling and drafting on project locations in Indonesia. You will generate BIM outputs, perform clash analysis, and develop technical presentations for bids, coordinating with managers, engineers, and pre-contracts teams.

The role requires hands-on BIM software experience (Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks) and proficiency with AutoCAD and MicroStation, with a focus on BIM standards and delivery timelines.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or Architectural disciplines.
• 5+ years of drafting experience.
• Knowledge of BIM processes and BEP.
• Experience with BIM software such as Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks.
• Ability to generate construction shop drawings from BIM models.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Seek inputs from Managers / Senior Engineers / Engineers / Operations Team on modelling/drafting requests.
• Generate models and clash control.
• Analyse details, sketches, mark-ups and input data.
• Generate output using BIM software(s).
• Develop technical and graphical presentations for tender submissions
• Coordinate and collaborate with different parties and generate awareness of BIM to the pre-contracts team.
• Review CAD output and send to Engineers / Sr. Engineers /Chartered Engineers / Tender Team for verification.
• Gather feedback, incorporate comments and update models.
• Seek resolution on technical issues from engineering / pre-contracts team, as required.
• Develop technical and graphical presentations for tender submission and post tender interview.
• Review all drawings for adherence with BIM & CAD standards and Leighton’s operating procedures
• Resolve instances (highlighted or self-reviewed) of non-compliances

Requirements:

• Degree Holder in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Architectural
• Total Relevant Experience: 5+ years of drafting experience
• Knowledge and basic understanding of civil structures and design
• Knowledge of BIM modelling, coordination & BEP
• Knowledge of MicroStation software
• Knowledge of AutoCAD
• Hands-on BIM software / applications experiences (Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks)
• Ability to generate construction Shop Drawings, CSD & ISD drawing from Revit BIM model preferable
• Perform clash analysis, construction simulation, exporting construction drawings, etc
• Advanced understanding of BIM processes and ability to develop this on new projects
• Ability to effectively prioritise tasks and solve problems when working under pressure
• Passion in technology and construction;
• Ability to develop learning material to support project teams
• Demonstrate a reliable, responsive and positive work ethic with the highest degree of integrity
