Qualifications

• A law qualification with a Bachelor's degree as minimum.
• Admission to practise law in Indonesia or recognised qualifications.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian banking law and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive legal consultation to bank departments on banking, finance and corporate law.
• Review, draft and negotiate legal agreements and documentation to protect the bank's interests.
• Ensure compliance with Indonesian banking regulations, financial laws and other applicable legislation.
• Manage legal documentation and maintain organised records of all legal matters and correspondence.
• Liaise with external legal counsel, regulatory authorities and other stakeholders as required.
• Identify and assess potential legal risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Support the resolution of legal disputes and claims involving the bank.
• Mentor and supervise junior legal staff, and contribute to the development of legal processes and procedures.
• Attend meetings with management and provide regular updates on significant legal matters.
