Job summary

PT Global Tiket Network is seeking a capable backend developer to craft and extend its services using Java and Spring Boot, building APIs for frontend apps while ensuring quality through SOLID practices and a solid test suite.

You will work with Redis, Elastic Search, Kafka/RabbitMQ, and containerized deployments via Docker/Kubernetes, participating in CI/CD and TDD to deliver robust systems under deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent in Computer Science/Information Technology.
• 2+ years of backend development experience.
• Proficient in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with RDBMS or NoSQL databases and indexing strategies.
• Familiar with Redis, Memcached, Elastic Search; plus knowledge of CI/CD, TDD, and refactoring.
• Experience with Event-Driven Architecture (Kafka or RabbitMQ).
• Git Flow, Kubernetes and Docker experience are a plus.
• Strong debugging and log analysis skills; comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and extend our backend code based on SOLID Principles and Clean Code.
• Develop APIs serving frontend apps and benchmark performance.
• Maintain and extend our test suite.
• Refactor and improve existing code with better patterns.
• Document work and write technical summaries.
• Create unit tests and self tests to ensure reliable code.
• Assist technical lead to review and follow up code.
